Childbirth education and companionship
We provide continuity of care and comprehensive support throughout pregnancy and birth. From education, to emotional and physical support in the antenatal period, labour, birth and beyond.
Newborn
care and education
Offering continual support and guidance in newborn care and baby development, helping parents navigate the early days with confidence through practical advice, emotional support, and hands-on role modelling and assistance.
Practical Postpartum Support
Postpartum support, including assistance with newborn care, breastfeeding guidance, and postpartum expectations, to help parents adjust to life with their new baby, ensuring a smooth transition.
Health and Wellbeing Support
General health and wellbeing support for families, providing guidance on nutrition and health, and the importance of self-care to facilitate a balanced and healthy family life.

Skills
Support
Guidance and practical assistance in developing essential life skills, supporting individuals through tasks such as budgeting and meal planning and preparation.
Building Community Supports
Assistance with transitioning into community groups, through transportation to and from appointments, referrals and linking in with local service providers.

Using a strength base approach our doulas offer compassionate and supportive guidance, providing individuals with the skills and resources they may need throughout their journey, to advocate for themselves.

Liaison
We provide seamless communication with care teams, through regular correspondence and the provision of comprehensive reports at the completion of every shift. This provides the foundation for all services involved to coordinate further support needs.
